Bean & Bacon Soup

In a large Dutch oven, fry the bacon until crisp
- 4 strips of lean bacon
- 3 large carrot, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 15 1/2-ounce cans white beans, drained
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Christmas Chex Mix

1. Line cookie sheet with foil or waxed paper
- 6 cups Rice Chex® or Chocolate Chex® cereal
- 1 bag (12 oz) white vanilla baking chips (2 cups)
- 1/3 cup coarsely crushed peppermint candy canes (14 miniature, unwrapped)
Blueberry French Toast

- 1 3 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 T confectioner sugar
- 1 package (12 oz) frozen french toast slices
- 3/4 cup fresh blueberries
Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake Cookies

This sweet-tart cookie with pockets of cream cheese will justify turning your oven on even on a hot summer day!
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 1 (16.5-ounce) roll Pillsbury® refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
- 1 cup blueberries
- Powdered sugar
New Orleans Double Chocolate Praline Fudge Cake

Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cake
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Chocolate Ganache
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1/3 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
- Praline Frosting
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/3 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Apple Nachos

For these, I sliced up some apples thin enough so it would be easy to eat the slice in one or two bites
- 3 crispy and slightly tart apples
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp creamy natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup flaked unsweetened coconut
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Cake Batter Cinnamon Rolls

Mix the milk, sugar and oil in a large pot
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 package dry yeast (or 2 1/4 teaspoons)

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 9 HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, crushed (about 1-1/2 cups)

- 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, drained

- 2 cups cold milk
- 2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature

- 6 egg whites
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 cup peach schnapps
- 1 small peach, peeled and diced
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup champagne
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon peach schnapps
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2-3 drops red food coloring, if desired
