  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mashed bananas (I use about 3 average sized bananas)
  • 4 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • Note: Often times, I’ll decrease the sugar to 1 cup, increase the bananas to 1 1/2 cups and the bread still turns out extremely moist and delicious!

  • 2 tbsp. flour (I used whole wheat)
  • 2 c. half & half
  • 1/4 tsp. of red pepper flakes
  • 1 c. Feta cheese (mom uses Parmesan)
