- 12 oz Mozzarella cheese
- 12 oz lasagna noodles, uncooked

- 1 - 25 ounce bag cheese ravioli, cooked and drained
- 1 - 24 ounce jar pasta sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley (+ 1/2 teaspoon for the third layer)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces (2 cups) shredded cheese (I used Italian 5 Cheese blend)

- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 14 ounces canned diced tomatoes with juices
- 1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
