Roasted Garlic and Herb Shrimp

- 2 teaspoons ground paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning blend
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 2 pounds large shrimp (16-20 per pound), peeled and deveined
Creamy Braised Chicken Breast with Peas

This is a variation of Chicken Lazone
- 4 boneless chicken breast, slightly flattened
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon white or black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ancho chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups half and half
- 8 ounces alfredo sauce (I use prepared Buitoni in tub)
- 16 ounces spaghetti
- 1 cup thawed frozen peas, drained and patted dry (optional)
Asian Slaw with Ginger Peanut Dressing

Make the dressing by combining all of the ingredients in a small processor or bowl
- 8 cups or 16 ounce pkg of coleslaw mix with carrots
- 3 to 4 medium scallions, sliced 1/4th inch
- [Dressing]
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 tablespoons Hellmann's Light Mayonnaise
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1 cup chopped peanuts, toasted (optional)
Creme Fraiche

- 2 cups heavy cream, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons cultured buttermilk, room temperature
Chocolate Ganache

- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (I use Ghirardelli)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Slow Cooker Asian Barbeque Country Ribs

- 2 medium garlic cloves, minced
- 1 envelope Lipton onion recipe soup mix
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 2/3 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1/3 cup chili sauce
- 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 pounds country-style ribs
Grapes Stuffed with Chevre

- 24 Globe grapes
- 1/4 cup chevre, at room temperature
- 2 to 3 tablespoons cream
- 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped (toast them if you wish before chopping)
Honey Basil Grill Mainade

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, finely cut

Rubbed and Grilled Pork Loin

- 4 pound boneless pork loin
- mustard to cover
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Shepherd’s Pie

I combined several recipes and substituted Bob Evan's mashed potatoes for convenience
- 2 24 ounce containers Bob Evans Potatoes
- 1 egg yolk
- FOR THE MEAT FILLING
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chopped onion, diced
- 1 cup (2 to 3 carrots), peeled and diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 pounds ground lamb
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 cup green peas, fresh or frozen
- 4 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
