Pimento Cheese | Clare Fare

I’d like to say right up front that I love pimento cheese
- 1/2 pound extra-sharp Vermont cheddar cheese
- One 4-ounce jar pimento, drained, and, if you wish, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Hellman’s real mayonnaise, or homemade mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- black pepper to taste
- Tabasco sauce to taste
Oven-Fried Panko Crusted Chicken Drumsticks

I think what surprised me the most about this chicken was how much my 5-year old loved it
- 6 chicken drumsticks
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- 4 tbsps butter
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsps parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper

Slow Cooker General Tso's Chicken

An easy slow cooker version of the family favorite General Tso's chicken and it's soooo much better than takeout!
- sauce:
- 3 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2 pounds), chopped into bite size pieces
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup corn starch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce (can be found in the Asian section at most markets)
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic (or garlic powder)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- steamed or fried rice for serving

- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 onions, minced
- 2 carrots, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch pieces
