I like a good quiche, therefore, I have tried many
- 1 unbaked pie crust (room temperature or partially baked & cooked 5 minutes)
- 8 ounces cooked sausage, chopped
- 4 ounce can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 2 ounce pimiento strips, diced and drained
- 4 ounces cave aged Gruyere Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/3 cup shallots, finely chopped
- 4 eggs (room temperature), slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups heavy or whipping cream (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme, leaves

- 1 medium red or white onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 4 cups water, divided
- 1 (16 oz) can navy beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (6 oz.) can unsalted tomato paste
- 1 (14 oz.) can canned tomatoes, no-salt added, diced and undrained
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

I love the soup but I added mushrooms to the recipe just because I like mushrooms
- 1-1/2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 tablespoon canola oil-for browning the stew meat
- 1 (14.5 ounce can) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup sliced fresh carrots
- cup chopped green pepper
- cup sliced Mushrooms
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2/3 cup medium pearl barley
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons dried basil
- teaspoon black pepper
The Best Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

In a 6 quart crockpot add in whole chicken breasts, carrots, onion, celery, garlic, olive oil, thyme and bay leaf
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 bay leaves
- 6 cups chicken broth (use my EASY homemade broth or low-sodium)
- 1 cup water
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste (I used 1/2 teaspoon salt & 1/4 teaspoon pepper)
- 2 cups uncooked wide egg noodles
- 3 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
