Irish Cream Pound Cake W/Irish Cream Glaze

Preheat oven to 325. Spray a 12 cup fluted pan with not stick spray with flour
- 1 1/2 - cups butter
- 2 - cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 - cup granulated sugar
- 5 - large eggs
- 3 - cups all purpose flour
- 1 - teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 - teaspoon salt
- 3/4 - cup whole milk
- 1/4 - cup Irish cream liqueur or Irish cream syrup (Torani brand)
Soft Scones Recipe

Preheat 450* Whisk together dry ingredients (and dried fruit, if using)
- 3 Cups Flour
- 1/3 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Nonfat Dry Milk
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 3/4 Cup Dried Fruit (optional, I did not add any)
- 2 Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Cup Milk, Buttermilk, or Water
- 8 Tablespoons Butter, Cold OR Combination of Butter and Shortening
- 1 Egg, Beaten with 1 teaspoon Water, for topping
- Coarse Sugar or Cinnamon-Sugar, for topping

Place a large stockpot or Dutch oven on the stove over medium heat
- 1 lb. Italian sausage (or half regular, half turkey sausage)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced

Preheat oven to 350*. Pour the melted butter over the crushed vanilla wafers and mix until “wet”

- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Using a food processor or food chopper, finely chop bell peppers and jalapenos (I did it by hand)
- 3 large, very ripe red bell peppers, cored, seeded
- 6 to 8 jalapeno chiles, seeded (for a milder flavor, remove ribs too)
- 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar (5% acidity)
- 6 1/2 cups sugar
- 6 ounces bottled liquid pectin
