Pasta Piazze

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil
- 1 pound farfalle (bow tie) pasta
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 small zucchini, quartered and sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) package mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Chicken Cacciatore

1. Combine the flour, salt and pepper in a plastic bag
- # 3/4 cup all-purpose flour for coating (optional)
- # 1/8 teaspoon salt
- # 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- # 3/8 (4 pound) chicken, cut into pieces or use chicken tenders cut up in bite size pieces
- # 2-1/4 teaspoons olive oil (optional)
- # 3/8 onion, chopped
- # 3/4 clove garlic, minced
- # 3/8 green bell pepper, chopped
- # 3/8 (14.5 ounce) can Italian stewed tomatoes
- # 2 T tomatoe paste
- # 1/8 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- # 1/2 cup red wine
- # 3/4 cup fresh mushrooms, quartered
BLT Pasta

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta
- FOR THE GARLIC BREAD CRUMBS
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 cup Italian bread cubes
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- Salt to taste
- FOR THE PASTA-
- 2 strips bacon, diced
- 1 cup halved grape tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced leeks
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken
- broth
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 4 oz. dry bucatini or spaghetti
- I cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1/4 tsp. minced fresh thyme
Pink Lady Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1 (4-serving-size) package strawberry flavored gelatin mix
- 1 (18.25-ounce) package white cake mix, batter prepared according to package directions
- 1 (16-ounce) container white frosting
- 3 tablespoons seedless strawberry preserves
Turkey Tetrazzini

Cook spaghetti according to package directions
- 1 pound uncooked spaghetti
- 1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 3 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 3 cups cubed cooked turkey
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup sherry or additional chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese, divided
Baked Potatoes

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2
- 4-5 potatoes
- 4 Tbs butter, melted
- 4-5 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup grated cheese of your choice
- 4 strips of cooked bacon
Ricotto-Mozerella Baked Potatoes

The cheese blends make them smooth and fluffy
- 4 potatoes microwaved, cut in half and scooped into a bowl (saving the jackets later to fill). I use yellow potatoes.
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- grating cheese Parmesan and Romano blends
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated or more for to taste
- paprika and dried parsley for garnish on top
Lasagna Soup

In a large saucepan, cook the beef, green pepper and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink
- 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) reduced-sodium beef broth
- 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2-1/2 cups uncooked spiral pasta
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

- 1/2 Cup sugar
- 2 T sesame seeds
- 1 T Poppyseeds
- 1 1/2 T minced onion
- 1/4 C Worchestershire sauce
- 1/4 t paprika
- 1/2 C vegetable oil
- 1/4 C cider vinegar
