Place the onions and carrots into a slow cooker
- This hearty stew is a fall classic. The leftovers taste great too.

- 3 carrots, cut into small pieces
- 2 Tbls. arrowroot powder
- 2 tsp. dried marjoram
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt

- 2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 4 tsp. paprika
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 16 oz. spelt or brown rice noodles or pasta, cooked
- Chopped fresh parsley

- 1 package (16 ounces) shredded coleslaw mix.

- 1 package (5 ounces) sliced almonds. Optional.
