1. Heat waffle maker. 2. Stir all ingredients until blended
- 2 cups Bisquick mix
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil

Never Fail Pie Crust

Mix flour and shortening well, add egg and milk mixture and a dash of salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup Crisco Shortening
- 1 egg beaten with 1/2 cup of milk
- dash of salt
ROASTED SWEET POTATOES

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size cubes
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- Pinch ground ginger
- Sea salt, to taste
BROCCOLI-CAULIFLOWER SALAD with Dried Cranberries and Pistachios

Dried cranberries and pistachios replace raisins and pecans in this traditional salad
- 6 Bacon slices
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 cups coarsely chopped broccoli florets
- 2 cups coarsely chopped cauliflower (about 1/2 head)
- 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
- 3 Tbsp. chopped red onion
ITALIAN PASTA CASSEROLE

1. Cook pasta according to package directions
- 2 cups uncooked spiral pasta
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 pound Italian turkey sausage links, castings removed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 ounces sliced turkey pepperoni
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

CRAB APPETIZER TRIANGLES

- 9 sour dough English muffins, toasted
- 1-2 jars Kraft old English cheese
- 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat or 1 pound fresh crab meat
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or salt
- 1 dash Tabasco
- 3 green onions, sliced
SPINACH BALLS

- 4 eggs
- 2 cups herb croutons
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 2 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, cooked for 10 minutes, drained well.
SWEET & SPICY SALMON

Coat salmon with olive oil, then pat with seasoning mix
- 1 1/2 lbs. salmon
- 2 tsps. extra virgin olive oil + additional 1 tsp for pan.
- 2 tbsps. Homemade Seasoning Mix (see recipe under Misc. Cookbook)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
CROCK-POT TACO CHICKEN
