- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 4 tsp ketchup
- 2 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar

- 4 cups romaine lettuce, torn or cut-up, lightly packed
- 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
BAKED RICE

- 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1/3 cup butter/margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
SCALLOP BUBBLY BAKE

- 1 lb scallops
- 1-8 oz. tin lobster
- 1 medium-sized onion
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 tin mushroom
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1-10 oz tin cream of mushroom soup

- Put the crab apples into preserving kettle. Pour in enough water to cover and boil until quite soft.

BANANA CHIFFON CAKE

- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 7 egg yolks
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 7 egg whites, room temperature
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar

- 8 bacon slices
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp dried sweet basil
- 1/4 tsp ground thyme

- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1-1/2 cups grated medium or sharp cheddar cheese
- 8 hard-boiled eggs, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter or hard margarine
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
