Classic Fondue

Rub the inside of the fondue pot or saucepan with the crushed garlic clove
- 1 clove of garlic,crushed
- 1 cup of dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoon cold water
- 1/2 pound Gruyere cheese, grated
- 1/2 pound Vacherin cheese, grated
- 4 oz of Kirsch
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- Freshly ground white pepper
- 1 loaf of French bread, cubed and lightly toasted
Buffalo Chicken Dip

Place cream cheese in a shallow casserole
- 2 cans (10oz) chunk chicken, drained
- 2 pkgs (8oz) of cream cheese
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 1/2 cup pepper sauce
- 1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Beef Satay with Peanut Sauce

1. Heat broiler, with rack set 4 inches from heat line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil
- Peanut Sauce:
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced across the grain
- 1 T vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- coarse salt and ground pepper
- 2 T lime juice
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 2 T light brown sugar
- 1 T soy sauce
Dill Creme Fraiche

Mix all ingredients together and serve with fish
- 1/2 cup creme fraiche
- 1/2 bunch fresh dill, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 tablespoon roughly chopped capers
- 4 cornichons, finely chopped
Kelsey's Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms

- 4 large mushrooms
- 16 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 medium onion, fine-chopped
- 2 eight oz portions monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 4 oz bread crumbs
- 8 oz crab meat
- 1 T garlic butter
Fresh Tomato Sauce

- 10 lbs beefsteak or plum tomatoes (or a combination)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 medium onion, coarsely grated
- 6 garlic cloves, smashed
- coarse salt and ground pepper
- 2 T tomato paste
Sticky Pecan Buns (using biscuit dough)

In a bowl microwave 3 Tbsp
- Topping:
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup pecans
- Filling:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Can of refrigerator biscuits
Muffuletta

Slice the bread in half horizontally, and pull out some of the soft insides to make it hollow
- Olive Salad:
- 1 round loaf of Italian bread
- 1/4 pound(s) thinly sliced hard salami
- 1/4 pound(s) sliced provolone cheese
- 1/4 pound(s) thinly sliced deli ham
- 1 jar(s) (7-ounce) roasted red peppers, minus the oil (optional-- you can substitute tomato slices, or just leave both out.)
- Green olives
- Black olives
- Cocktail onions (found with pickles and olives in the grocery store)
- 1 stalk(s) celery, diced small
- Italian herbs (Use premixed Italian seasonings, or combine oregano, basil, rosemary, marjoram, and/or thyme.)
- Olive oil

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, (spooned and leveled), plus more for pan
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 recipe cooled Vanilla or Chocolate Pudding
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
