I was looking for healthier pasta dishes
- 1 12 oz box whole wheat pasta
- 2 16 oz bags of frozen spinach
- 1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 8 oz package fresh sliced mushrooms
- 2 3.8 oz cans sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, julienne cut with no oil
- 6 cloves pressed or minced garlic
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
Fiesta Breakfast Casserole

1. Cook the sausage in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat
- 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
- 12 slices Pepperidge Farm® White Sandwich Bread, cut into cubes (about 6 cups)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (about 6 ounces)
- 1 cup Pace® Picante Sauce
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
5 Cup Salad

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
- 1 cup mandarin oranges
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup drained pineapple tidbits
- 1 cup miniature marshmellows
- 1 cup sour cream
Strip Steak with Pepper Cream Sauce

Alton Brown introduced this recipe
- 4 (6 to 8-ounce) strip steaks, 3/4 to 1-inch thick
- Kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons black peppercorns, coarsely crushed
- 2 tablespoons clarified, unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup beef stock or broth
- 3 tablespoons cognac
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon green peppercorns in brine, drained and slightly crushed
Caramel Icing

Mix all ingredients but brown sugar and vanilla over medium heat until it's a soft boil

- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tbsp margarine or butter
- 1 small can evaporated milk
Parmesan Rice

- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Make Ahead Individual Chocolate Souffles

Butter and flour 8 ¾-cup ramekins
- 10 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 10 T. (1 ¼ sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 egg yolks
- generous pinch salt
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- Powdered sugar
- Fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)
Holiday Breakfast Hash

Cook sausage and bacon, drain off part of the grease
- 2 1/1 cups obrien style potatoes
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 lb sausage, chopped
- 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- Parmesan cheese for topping
Breakfast Casserole

In a small bowl, beat the eggs until they loosen up
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup half and half or milk or heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper, optional
- Butter to grease pan
- 6 slices of Texas Toast (thick cut, crusty white bread)
- 1 pound spicy pork sausage, cooked and drained of fat
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
