Cream of Broccoli Soup

In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium high heat
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- coarse salt and ground pepper
- 2 cans reduced sodium chicken broth (14.5 oz cans)
- 1 large head broccoli, trimmed and roughly chopped
- 1 medium baking potato, peeled and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
Hot & Chili Chicken

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Line rimmed baking sheet with nonstick foil
- 1/2 cup sweet or bitter orange marinade
- 2 T chili powder
- 8 chicken legs
Broccoli Cole Slaw

I marinated chicken with sesame and ginger sauce and diced it with the left over cole slaw
- Salad:
- 2 bags (3-ounce) Ramen Noodle Soup in Oriental (other flavors will work, too)
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds or cashews
- 2 bags (12-ounce) bags broccoli cole slaw (in the bagged salad section of the grocery store)
- Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
- Dressing Mix:
- 3/4 cup canola oil or 1/2 sesame oil
- 1/4 cup brown or white sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 1 ramen noodle seasoning packet
Homemade Flat Bread

Directions In the bowl of a food processor combine the yeast, sugar, flour, salt and thyme
- 1 package active yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 3/4 cup water (might need more)
- 1 teaspoon oil
One Step Cherry Pie

Very easy to make!
- 1 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup water
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 can of pie filling, cherry or apple.
Party Meatballs 1

Combine sauces in a large saucepan
- 1 16 oz can jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 12 oz bottle of chili sauce
- 1 2lb bag frozen, precooked, cocktail size meatballs
Artichoke-Parmesan Crostini

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 8 slices (1/4 inches thick) baguette
- 2 T olive oil
- coarse salt and ground pepper
- 1 jar (6.5 oz) marinated artichoke hearts, drained, rinsed and patted dry
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
- 1 T chopped fresh parsley
Party Meatballs 2

Very easy! Leftovers make great meatball sub sandwiches
- 1 about 2 lbs package frozen, precooked meatballs.
- 1 bottle barbaque sauce
- 1 jar grape jelly
BBQ Sauce

Mix all ingredients together
- 1 cup Cider vinegar
- 1 cup mustard
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
Spaghetti Carbonara

- 1 pound spaghetti
- 8 ounces (8 slices) bacon, cut 1 inch thick crosswise
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
