ITALIAN PORK CHOPS

Brown chops in hot oil in large skillet over medium-high heat
- 4 center cut pork chops
- 1 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 small onion sliced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) package sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
VEGETABLE APPETIZERS

Flatten rolls into large cookie sheet with sides
- 2 (8 oz.) packages crescent rolls
- 1 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese softened
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 cup your favorite vegetables, onions, radishes, cucumbers, olives, cauliflower, broccoli, etc
CHASEN'S CHILI

Rinse the beans picking out the debris
- 1/2 lb. dried pinto beans
- Water
- 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes in juice
- 1 large green bell pepper chopped
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cups onions, coarsely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup parsley chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 pounds beef chuck, coarsely chopped
- 1 pound pork shoulder coarsely chopped
- 1/3 cup Gebhardt's brand chili powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
ROASTED VEGETABLES

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1 bunch of small carrots, peeled
- 4 medium beets, cleaned trimmed and quartered
- 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, trimmed and wiped clean
- large ones halved
- 5 shallots, peeled and halved
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt
- Coarsely ground black pepper
PECAN CLUSTERS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1-1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate meltred
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups pecan halves
DUNCAN HINES CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

- 1 package white cake mix
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup oil

CHILES RELLENOS WITH RED SAUCE

- 8 canned whole mild green chiles
- 1 (8 oz.) package Monterey Jack cheese

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
BARBECUED PORK ROAST

- 3 large garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
