CHICKEN & MUSHROOMS BRAISED

Remove skin and fat from all pieces of chicken except wings
- 1 - 3 -1/2 lb. chicken cut up
- 1-1/2 lbs. mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon salad oil
- 1 13 to 14 oz. can chicken broth
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 2 tablespoons dried rosemary leaves crushed
- 1-1/2 cups long grain rice
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoon browning and seasoning sauce
- 1 16 oz. can whole baby carrots
GRILLED PORK TENDERLOIN WITH GINGERED JEZEBEL SAUCE

Combine first 4 ingredients in a shallow dish or large zip-loc plastic freezer bag add pork
- Gingered Jezebel Sauce:
- 1/2 cup lite soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 green onions chopped
- 2 tablespoons sherry
- 3 lb. pork tenderloin
- Gingered Jezebel sauce
- 2/3 cup pineapple preserves
- 1/3 cup apple jelly
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
WALNUT TART

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Tart Shell:
- 1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup plus 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 cup plus 1/2 tablespoon almond flour 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
SPOON ROLLS

Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes
- 1 package dry yeast
- 2 cups warm water (105-115 degrees)
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
- 4 cups self-rising flour
- 1 egg slightly beaten

- 1/4 cup sugar

- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3 envelopes (1 oz. each) premelted unsweetened chocolate
- 1-1/3 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 envelope (1 oz.) premelted unsweetened chocolate 2-1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
LEMON SYRUP CAKE WITH BERRIES AND LEMON CURD CREAM

Curd: Combine first 4 ingredients in large microwave safe bowl
- Curd:
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 2-1/2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
- 3 large eggs
- Syrup:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- Cake:
- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
- 2 large eggs
- 1-1/4 cups self-rising flour
- 2 cups sour cream
- 3 cups sliced hulled strawberries (about 1 pound)
HORSERADISH SAUCE

Mix all ingredients together
- 2 tablespoons horseradish
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
FROSTED PEANUT MARSHMALLOW CRISPY TREATS

Microwave margarine in large mixing bowl on high 45 seconds or until melted
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1-10 oz. bag marshmallows
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 5 cups rice cereal
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 6 oz. package butterscotch pieces
- 1 6 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate pieces
SALAD MANDARIN ORANGES

Place sliced almonds and sugar in sauce pan
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 heat iceberg lettuce and 1 head romaine lettuce
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper to taste
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced tops
- 1 22 oz. can mandarin oranges
