- 2-1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 lb. solid shortening
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- Pinch baking soda
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon water
CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE WITH FUDGE FROSTING

Cream butter and shortening, gradually add sugar beating well at medium speed of mixer
- Fudge Frosting:
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup softening
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups sifted cake flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1-1/4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fudge frosting
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
TASSIE CUPS WITH LEMON CURD

For the Tassie Cups: Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until the mixture forms a ball
- Tassie Cups:
- 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Lemon Curd Filling:
- 3 large lemons, zested and juiced
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted

Combine biscuit mix and water, stirring a fork until blended
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- Paprika
CRISPY SHRIMP WONTONS WITH SWEET & SOUR DIPPING SAUCE

Sauce: Stir reserved pineapple juice and cornstarch in medium saucepan until cornstarch dissolves
- Sauce:
- 2-8 oz. cans crushed pineapple in juice drained, juice reserved
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
- 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
- 3 tablespoons chili sauce (such as Heinz)
- 1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh garlic
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
- Wontons:
- 1/4 cup lb. bulk pork sausage
- 1/4 lb. uncooked shrimp peeled, deveined and minceD
- 4 canned whole water chestnuts minced
- 2 fresh mushrooms minced
- 1 large green onion finely chopped
- 1-1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salT
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1-12 oz. package wonton wrappers
- 1 large egg white beaten to blend

- GLAZE:
- 4 squares bakers unsweetened baking chocolate
- 1-1/2 stick butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 tub (8 oz.) frozen cool whip
- 6 squares bakers semisweet baking chocolate
DOUBLE-GLAZED SMOKED TURKEY BREASTS

At least one hour before cooking, soak wood chips in enough water to cover
- Spice Glaze:
- 4 cups hickory wood chips or mesquite wood chips
- 2 turkey boneless breast halves

- Mandarin oranges dipped in melted chocolate
- 1 (12 oz.) container cool whip
- 1 package (4 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
- 1-1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 enevelop whipped topping mix
OVEN BARBECUED PORK ROAST
