- 1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 loaf thinly sliced white bread
- Paprika

Mix margarine and sugar. Stir in light corn syrup, egg yolks and flour

- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 egg yolks

- 2-1/4 cups sifted flour
- 1 cup soft margarine
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese softened
- 1 egg unbeaten
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
FROZEN STRAWBERRY MARGARITA PIE

Combine crumbs, margarine and sugar, press firmly on bottom and up sides of lightly buttered 9" pie plate
- 1-1/4 cups pretzel crumbs
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1-1/2 cups chopped unsweetened strawberries
- 1/2 cup bottled lime juice
- 1/4 tequila
- 2 tablespoons triple sec
- Red food coloring
- 1-1/2 cups whipped cream
SPICY PORK WITH ORANGE-HOISIN SAUCE IN WONTON CUPS

Sauce: Mix all ingredients in small bowl
- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 3 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate thawed
- 2 green onions minced
- 1 tablespoons chili-garlic sauce
- 1 teaspoon (packed) grated orange peel
- Filling:
- 1-1/4 lbs. ground pork
- 3 large green onions chopped
- 3 large garlic cloves finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced peeled fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oriental sesame oil
- 1-1/2 teaspoons (packed) grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg yolk
- Two 12 oz. packages wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil
CHOCOLATE ALMOND TORTE

Butter and flour a 9” springform pan
- 1 cup whole almonds toasted and divided,
- 2 tablespoons sugar,
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- four 4 oz. bittersweet or semisweet chocolate bars finely chopped
- 6 large eggs separated
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons almond liqueur
- Garnish toasted sliced almonds
GNOCCHI WITH SPICY TOMATO AND WINE SAUCE

Place olive oil, garlic and chili flakes in a cold pan
- 1 lb. Gnocchi potato dumplings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves fresh garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 cups chicken broth
- 2 (14.5 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 1/2 stick sweet cream butter
- 1 ” cubes chilled
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Freshly chopped basil to taste
- Salt to taste
- Freshly crushed black pepper to taste
CREOLE-STYLE PORK CHOPS

Coat a non-stick pan with cooking spray
- 4 boneless pork chops
- Vegetable cooking spray
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped red pepper
- 3 cloves crushed garlic
- 1 - 8 -1/2 oz, can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups hot cooked rice, cooked without oil or salt
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
CHOCOLATE COOKIES GHIRARDELLI

IN double boiler over hot water, melt the bittersweet chocolate chips and butter
- 1 bag bittersweet chocolate chips
- 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
FUDGE FROSTING

- 1 box confectioners sugar (about 4-3/4 cups)
- 1/2 cup cocoa (dry)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
