CHOCOLATE DREAM TARTS

Combine flour, margarine and pecans, blend together and press into 9" x 13" pan
- Crust:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 cup pecans
- Filling:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cool whip
- 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 2 small packages chocolate pudding
MAGNOLIA PIE

Combine first 3 ingredients, beat at medium speed with a mixer until blended
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
- Whipped cream
PORK MEDALLIONS WITH SWEET CHILI SAUCE

In medium bowl stir together chili sauce, preserves, brandy, mustard salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup bottled chili sauce
- 1/2 cup peach preserves
- 2 tablespoons peach flavored brandy or orange juice
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 8 boneless pork chops
CHILI CON QUESO SECOND RECIPE

Brown hamburger and drain
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 small can chopped mild chili peppers, peeled
- 1 can tomatoes chopped and peeled
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Chili powder
PEANUT BUTTER & FUDGE BROWNIES

- Frosting:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup margarine or butter softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 eggs
- 3 - (3 squares) unsweetened chocolate
- 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 2-2/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 4-5 tablespoons water
PECAN PIE

Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
- 1 to 1-1/4 cups pecan halves
WARM ASPARAGUS AND BACON TOAST WITH RED PEPPER SHALLOT VINAIGRETTE

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Red Pepper-Shallot Vinaigrette:
- 12 oz. asparagus trimmed
- 4 slices bacon halved crosswise
- 4 (3/4” thick slices) thick crusted country bread
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 4 slices mozzarella or Monterey Jack
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons sherry vinegar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup minced fresh chives
- 1/4 cup pitted kalamata or black olives chopped
- 3 shallots thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper roasted, peeled and cut into thin strips
PIZZA DOUGH BASIC

Combine water and yeast in a bowl
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 package dry yeast
- 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
BEAN SALAD

Mix first 6 ingredients. Combine remaining ingredients, add to bean mixture
- 1 cup kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup green beans
- 2 cup yellow wax beans
- 1/2 green pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
CHERRY ANGEL CREAM CAKE

Cut cake into 1/4" slices, arrange half the slices on bottom of 9" x 13" baking dish
- 1 prepared angel food cake
- 1 - 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 small package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup (1 pint) whipping cream
- 2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
