BUTTERFINGER COOKIES

Drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheet
- Mix 1-1/2 cups sugar,
- 1-1/3 cups dark brown sugar,
- 1 stick of butter,
- 4 eggs,
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- Add 2-1/2 cups chunky peanut butter and stir.
- Add 2 cups flour,
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Add 20 ounces of butterfinger candies
SNAKE APPETIZER

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 1 can crescent rolls
- flour for dusting
- 4 tablespoons spicy mustard
- 10 oz. thinly sliced ham
- 10 oz. thinly sliced salami
- 10 oz. bologna
- 12 oz. Monterey Jack grated
- liquid food coloring
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 whole cloves
- toothpicks
- 2 small pimiento-stuffed olives
- (1 1”) strips jarred roasted red peppers
CHICKEN RAGOUT WITH CHEDDAR PINWHEELS

Arrange carrot and pepper strips in a steamer basket over boiling water
- 2 cups diagonally sliced carrots
- 1 medium sweet red pepper seeded and cup into strips
- 5 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can condensed chicken broth, undiluted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 5 cups cooked chopped chicken
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed and drained
- 2 cups biscuit and baking mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3/4 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
EMERIL’S RUSSIAN DRESSING

In bowl combine all ingredients and whisk until well blended
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced yellow onion
- 1 tablespoon minced celery
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustar
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- Pinch sugar
- Salt
DIJON AND TARRAGON GRILLED CHICKEN

Combine first 5 ingredients in processor
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh tarragon
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 chickens cut up
CHOCOLATE BIRTHDAY CAKE

Grease 2 8” round cake pans with butter and line bottoms with parchment or wax paper, butter paper
- Dark Chocolate Frosting:
- Basic Buttermilk cake
- 18 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
- 1-1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter at room temperature
- Pinch of salt
LEMON SPONGE PIE

Bake 9" pie crust in 450 degrees oven for 5 minutes with foil inserted in center to keep crust from burning
- 1 9" pie crust
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon margarine or butter melted
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 egg whites
- Whipped cream
- Lemon slices, halved
SIX LAYER CHOCOLATE CAKE

- Cake:
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups self-rising flour, sifted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Frosting:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup half-and-half
- 2 tablespoon corn syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 (16-ounce) box confectioners' sugar, sifted, plus 1 cup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
MOUSSAKA

- 1-1/2 tablespoons grated lemon rind
- 1 stick plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon ice water
- 3 pints strawberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
