CRAB CAKES

Drain crabmeat and remove any cartilage
- 1 6 oz. package crabmeat drained, flaked and cartilage removed
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion (1)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1 tablespoon snipped fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons snipped fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon white wine worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
TUNA BROCCOLI CHEESY BAKE

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1- 12 oz. package reames frozen egg noodles
- 1- 11 oz. can cheddar cheese soup
- 5 ounce can evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon instant minced onions
- 12-1/2 ounce can tuna
- 4 ounce can mushroom pieces, drained
- 10 oz. package broccoli thawed
- 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
NO FAIL BACON & CHEESE SOUFFLES

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup mild cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 4 eggs separated
POPOVERS

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- 2-1/2 cups whole milk
- 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 6 large eggs, lightly whisked
- Unsalted butter, softened for pans.
MARINATED BEEF WITH CREAM SAUCE

Combine ingredients for marinade, bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes
- Marinade:
- 3-4 lb. sirloin or rump roast
- Seasoned salt
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup vinegar
- 3 carrots cut up
- 2 stalks celery cut up
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 whole allspice
- 5 whole peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1-1/2 cups strained cooking juices
- 1 cup beef broth
BOLICHE

Prepare the boliche the night before with lemon, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and any seasoning you prefer
- Boliche

- Chopped onion
- Choppped green pepper
- Garlic
- 2-3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 8 oz. can water
- Brown gravy mix (1 package)
GLAZED APPLE TART

In large skillet cook and stir sugar, orange juice, water and butter over low heat until smooth
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons or margarine
- 8 tart apples, peeled and quartered
- 3-1/2 " tart shells
- 3/4 About 3/4 cup orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- Whipped cream
PANSY FLOWER COOKIES

Cream butter with 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup butter at room temperature
- 1-1/2 cup plus 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 tablespoon milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 3-1/2 cups flour plus extra for dusting
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg whites
- 48 clean edible pansy blossom
LEMON STRUESEL POUND CAKE

Prepare cake mix as directed, except pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle with cracker crumbs
- 1 package golden pound cake mix
- 1/2 cup crushed cinnamon graham crackers (about 5 squares)
- Lemon glaze
BREAD NO KNEAD

In large bowl stir flour, yeast and salt together
- 1-1/2 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
- 1-1/2 CUPS BREAD FLOUR (SEE NOTE)
- For the 3 cups of flour, you can mix and match for example, using 1 cup
- all purpose, 1 cup bread and 1 cup of a different flour like rye or
- whole wheat
- 1 PACKET DRIED YEAST 2-1/4 TEASPOONS)
- 1-1/2 TEASPOON KOSHER SALT
- 1-1/2 CUPS WARM WATER, OR SLIGHTLY LESS
