Sage Wheat Bread

Combine 2 C all-purpose flour, yeast, sage, in a large mixing bowl; set aside
- 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 C all-purpose flour
- 2 packages active dry yeast
- 1 T snipped fresh sage or 1 tsp dried sage, crushed
- 1 3/4 C reduce-fat milk
- 1/4 C packed brown sugar
- 3 T butter
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 C whole wheat flour
- 1/2 C yellow cornmeal
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- fresh sage leaves (optional)
Herb Cheese Focaccia

In large bowl combine 3 cups flour, undissolved yeast and salt
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 package rapid rise yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 6 ounces Asiago Cheese, finely shredded
- 1 teaspoon rosemary leaves, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon thyme leaves, crumbled
Italian Dressing

- 1 cup salad oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme
Ham Fettucine - Mom's

Melt butter; saute ham. Add peas, cream, cheese, and demi-glaze
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 pound ham, chopped
- 1 cup small peas
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1 batch demi-glaze, recipe below
- 12 ounces pasta, medium egg noodles or fettucine, cooked
Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Combine first 4 ingredients in large saucepan
- 4 C chicken stock
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 C frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 C diced cooked chicken
- 1 C cooked spaghetti, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 C chopped green onion
Sweet and Sour Chicken

Combine first 5 ingredients in 3 1/2 C slow cooker
- 2 T ketchup
- 1 C water
- 1/2 C white vinegar
- 1 T soy sauce
- 1 C brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut bite size
- 2 T cornstarch
- 2 T water
Hermit Slice

In large bowl, beat together butter, sugar, molasses and egg
- 1/4 C butter
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1/4 C molasses
- 1 egg
- 1/2 C raisins
- 1/4 C chopped walnuts
- 1 C flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/8 tsp mace
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp allspice
Classic Greek Kabobs

Marinate for at least 1 hour or up to 12 hours
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cubed
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1/4 teaspoon dried mint

Light and Lemony Spinach Salad

- 1 14 oz can corn, drained

- shake cayenne
