- 4 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt

- Add the garlic to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely minced. Add cilantro stems, soy sauce, water and salt and puree until semi-smooth. Pour marinade .

Hearty White Bean Soup

1. Dissolve 3 tablespoons salt in 4 qts
- 1 pound dried cannellini beans, picked over and rinsed
- 6 slices bacon, chopped fine
- 1 pound Swiss chard, stems chopped, leaves sliced 1/2 inch think (can substitute collards)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 ounce)
- I am also going to add either sweet Italian sausage or browned chicken breast for the final 45 minutes. I brown the meat with the bacon grease at the same time I brown the bacon.
Mexican Rice
