Oatmeal Cookies

Mix all together and cook at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes
- 3/4 c Crisco
- 1 c. Brown Sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. soda
- 3 c. oats
Banana Nut Bread

Marilyn Tipton's Banana Nut Bread
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flower
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda disolved in 1/4 cup sour milk*
- 4 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- *to make sour milk, place 1 tablespoon vinegar in a measuring cup. Add milk to 1/4 cup
Peanut butter fudge

Combine peanut butter and marshmellow creme vanilla and chopped peanuts in a large bowl;set aside
- 1 (12 oz) jar creamy peanut butter
- 1 (7 1/2 oz) jat marshmellow creme
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 c. chopped salted peanuts
- 2 c. suagr
- 2 c. firmly packed light brown sugAR
- 3/4 C. MILK
- 1/2 T. SALT
- 1/4 salted peanuts
Chicken with Duck Sauce

Place chicken in open roasting pan
- 3 lb chicken breast
- 1-8 oz bottle Russian Dressing
- 2 envelopes onion soup mix
- 1-8oz jar apricot jam
Mushroom Bisque

Melt butter in a large saucepan
- 4 T. butter
- 4 T. flour
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1 lb fresh mushrooms-stemmed and sliced
- 1 c. finely chopped onions
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. whipping cream or 1/2&1/2
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t. white pepper
- 1/4 t red pepper
- 3 T. Madeira or sherry
- 1/4 chopped parsley
Cheese Soup

Chop celery and onions very fine
- 2 T. butter
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 bunch green onions
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 1 can of chicken soup
- 1/2 small block of velvetta cheese
Brennan's Bananas Foster

Combine the butter, sugar and cinnamon in a flambe pan or skillet
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup white rum
- 4 bananas, cut in half lengthwise, then halved
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup banana liqueur
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
chicken green bean casserole

Cook diced onions while you prepare the wild rice using broth instead of water
- 1 pkg Uncle Ben's Wild Rice
- 2 cans french style green beans drained
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts-drained
- 1-7 oz jar sliced pimentos-drained
- 2 cans cream celery soup
- 4 to 5 c chicken cooked and chopped
- 1 1/2 c. hellman's mayonnaise
- 1 large onion diced
Brussel Sprouts Roasted

Preheat oven to 400°F. 2 Cut off the ends of the Brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow outer leaves
- 1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2-3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning or 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Hot Onion Dip

- 1-12 -16 oz bag of chopped onions
- 3 pkg cream cheese
- 1-8 oz parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c.mayonnaise
