Toss Together Casserole

Brown meat in skillet with onion, green pepper and celery
- 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
- 3 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 med. onion, finely chopped
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, finely chopped

1.Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot insert and sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs, about 5

- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Caramel Rum Sauce:
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 2 cups dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1 cp milk
- 2 t. vanilla
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 T. light corn syrup
- 3 T. dark rum

Place chicken between two sheets of waxed paper; pound to 1/4" thickness
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup plus 2 T. flour
- 3 T. vegetable oil, divided
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine or chicken broth
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 T. lemon juice
- 2 T. chopped fresh parsley
