Pig Pickin' Cake

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Cake:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- One 11 oz. can mandarin oranges, with juice
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Frosting:
- One 16 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
- One 3.4 oz. package instant vanilla pudding mix
- Two 8 oz. containers Cool Whip, or 1 qt. heavy cream, whipped and sweetened with 1 cup sugar

1. iN A LARGE BOWL, WHISK TOGETHER OLIVE OIL, VINEGAR, GARLIC POWDER, BASIL, OREGANO, BLK
- 1/2 CUP OLIVE OIL
- 1/2 CUP RED WINE VINEGAR
- 1 1/2 TEASPOONS GARLIC POWDER
- 1 1/2 TSP. DRIED BASIL
- 1 1/2 TSP. DRIED OREGANO
- 3/4 TSP. GROUND BLACK PEPPER
- 3/4 TSP. WHITE SUGAR
- 2 1/2 CUPS COOKED ELBOW MACARONI
- 3 CUPS FRESH SLICED MUSHROOMS
- 15 CHERRY TOMATOES, HALVED
- 1 CUP SLICED RED BELL PEPPERS
- 3/4 CUP CRUMBLED FETA CHEESE
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED GREEN ONIONS
- 1 (4 OZ.) CAN WHOLE BLACK OLIVES
- 3/4 CUP SLICED PEPPEROI SAUSAGE, CUT INTO STRIPS
Cornbread Dressing

Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cornbread according to package directions; cool
- 1 (6 oz.) package yellow cornbread mix
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 8 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 bunches green pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- 7 pieces white bread, toasted and torn into pieces
- 20 saltine crackers, crushed
- 2-3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- dash curry powder
- salt
- black pepper
- chicken or turkey broth

Blend cake mix, pudding mix, water, eggs and oil in large mixer bowl
- 1 pkg. (2 layer size) yellow cake mix
- 1 pkg (4 serving size) jello brand vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 cups coconut
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- Coconut Cream Cheese Frosting
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 2 cups coconut
- 1 pkg. (8oz.) cream cheese
- 2 tsp. milk
- 3 1/2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
House Seasoning

Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months
- 1 cup Salt
- 1/4 cup black pepper
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
Sourdough Bread

Preheat oven to 350. Place the bread slices on baking sheets
- Sourdough bread-at least 1 slice per person
- Olive oil
- Garlic Salt
- Fine Herbs (equal parts dried parsley, chervil, chives and tarragon, mixed well.
Glazed Carrots

In a 12 inch saute pan over medium heat, combine the carrots, butter, salt and ginger ale
- 1 lb. carrots, approximately 7 medium, peeled and cut on the bias 1/4 inch thick
- 1 oz. (2 tbsp.) unsalted butter
- Heavy pinch kosher salt
- 1 cup good quality ginge ale
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley leaves
Pecan Penuche

Oil a jelly-roll pan or an 8x8 inch pan
- Penuche is firmer than classic fudge, but because of its deep sweet flavor, its often called brown sugar fudge.
- 2 cups firmly packed dark-brown sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 tbsp. butter, in small pieces
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
