Sugared and Spiced Pecans

Line a baking sheet with foil
- 1/2 lb. pecans
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. gr. cloves
- 1/4 cup sugar
Curried Cauliflower

Break cauliflower into flowerets
- Oven Temperature: 350
- 1 large head cauliflower
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 3 tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 cup dried bread crumbs
Cannelloni

Saute the onion in the olive oil until just soft, then add the garlic and cook, stirring a minute more
- Cannelloni pasta
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 tbsp. cream
- 1 tsp. oregano, crumbled
- 2 eggs
- Filling
- 1 1/2 lbs. fresh spinach, cooked, drained, and chopped; or one 10 oz. package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground pepper
- Sauce 1
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 6 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup hot milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- SAUCE 2
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 3/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 1/2 cups peeled and chopped fresh or canned tomatoes
- 1 carrot, grated, or 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
- 1 tbsp. basil, crumbled
- 5 tbsp. butter
- Salt to taste
Frozen Strawberry Salad

Beat cream cheese at med. speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar, beating until smooth
- 1 (8oz.) pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups frozen whole strawberries, thawed and halved
- 1 ( 8oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed and halved.
- 1 (15 1/4 oz.) can unsweetened crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 1 /2 cups sliced bananas (2 Med.)
Perfect Eye-of-Round Roast

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees
- 1 beef eye of round roast, 2 1/2-3 lbs.
- 1 tbs. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. the Lady's Seasoned Salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Chocolate Chip Cookies

In a small bowl, whisk te flour with the baking soda and salt
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup packed light brown ugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 cups nuts (such as walnuts, pecans, almonds or macadamia nuts), toasted and chopped
- 14 oz. bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped into 1/2 to 1 inch chunks
- 5 oz. white chocolate chips ( I used in place of nuts)
Pink Cloud Punch

At serving time, place sherbet block in punch bowl and pour juice and gingerale over
- 1 qt. block raspberry or strawberry sherbet
- 46 oz. can lemon pink Hawaiian punch, chilled
- 1 qt. gingerale, chilled
Stouffer's White French Dressing

Mix all of the ingredients together except the garlic
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. onion, grated
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
Sausage Bake

Combine sausage, green peppers,potatoes, onions, basil, salt and pepper
- 3 lbs sausage (Kiebasa)cut into bite size pieces
- 3 green peppers
- 3 potatoes, quartered
- 2 onions
- 1 tsp. basil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

- To remove excess grease from soups, drop a lettuce leaf in and watch it absorb the grease. Repeat until desired amount is removed. Discard lettuce.
