Cranberry Apple Dessert (Bisquick)

Heat oven to 350°F. In 13x9-inch pan, melt butter in oven
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce (from 16-oz can)
- 1 cup chunky applesauce
- 1 medium cooking apple, thinly sliced (1 cup)
- Sweetened whipped cream, if desired

Method: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 4 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes (or 2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules)
- 2 cups water
- 4 Tbsp. oil (vegetable or canola)
- 1 (15.5 oz.) can mashed lentils or black beans, drained
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
- 3 cups Mexican-blend shredded cheese

Scrambled Eggs Enchiladas w/ black bean sauce (Prev)

1. Heat oven to 400°F
- GET AHEAD
- Make the sauce several days before serving. Assemble enchiladas a couple of hours before warming. Bake until hot throughout, about 15 minutes.

- 1/3 cup flaxseed meal, wheat germ, or a mixture of the two
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 large egg whites
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 cup sweetener, such as honey, agave syrup, or molasses
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

- 2-3 medium apples, whatever variety you prefer for baking
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- 1/3 cup (67 grams) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. (2 grams) ground cinnamon
- Dash of grated nutmeg

- 1 (15-count) package mini phyllo cups
- 15 grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4 ounces fresh mozzarella, diced or torn into small pieces
- 4 large fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces
- Method
- Bring balsamic vinegar to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 3-5 minutes, or until reduced by half. Remove from heat.
- Portion the tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil between the phyllo cups. Drizzle with the reduced balsamic vinegar. Serve immediately.
