Apricot-Balsamic Glazed Chicken

Preheat a grill to medium-high
- 1/2 c. apple juice or cider
- 1/4 c. apricot preserves
- 1/4 c. aged balsamic vinegar
- olive oil, for drizzling
- 4 chicken breast halves
- salt and pepper
- 4 large beets, peeled and sliced 1/4" thick
- 8 oz. ricotta salata, feta or goat cheese, crumbled
Auntie Anne's Soft Pretzels

Directions: Sprinkle yeast on lukewarm water in mixing bowl; stir to dissolve
- 1 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 1/8 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup bread flour
- 3 cups regular flour
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- to taste coarse salt
- 4 tablespoons butter, (melted)
Honey-Cinnamon Butter

Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl; beat at low speed with an electric mixer 1 minute or until creamy

- 2 Tb. honey

Lemon Star Bars

FOR THE CRUST: In a small bowl, mix together all crust ingredients and press into a greased 8" square pan

- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 2 Tb. powdered sugar
- 2 Tb. granulated sugar
- 1 c. flour
- Filling:
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tb. lemon juice
- grated rind of one lemon
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tb. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder

- 1 c. powdered sugar

Cajun Sauteed Shrimp

1. Peel shrimp; devein, if desired
- 2 lbs. unpeeled, raw shrimp, (21/26 count)
- 2 Tb. butter
- 1/2 sweet onion, diced
- 1 Tb. chopped fresh basil, (or 1 tsp. dried)
- 1 Tb. chopped fresh oregano, (or 1 tsp. dried)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
Classic Baguettes and Stuffed Baguettes

- Starter:
- 1/2 cup (4 ounces) cool water
- 1 cup (4 1/4 ounces) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour or Unbleached Bread Flour
- 1/16 teaspoon instant yeast
- Dough:
- All of the starter
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast or 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 cup (8 ounces) lukewarm water*
- 3 1/2 cups (14 3/4 ounces) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour or Unbleached Bread Flour*
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- *If you use bread flour, increase the water to 1 cup + 2 tablespoons (9 ounces).
Creamy Beef Stroganoff
