Honey Scones

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/2 c. + 1 Tb. `heavy whipping cream
- sparkling sugar
Peach Jam Scones

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees
- 6 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) chilled unsalted butter
- 1 1/2-2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. peach jam
- 3 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced , or 1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen peaches, defrosted and drained
Caramelized Cake Squares

In a large saucepan, combine butter and sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves
- 2 c. butter
- 2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 (7") purchased angel food cake, cut into 1" cubes
- 4 c. finely chopped pecans
Cherry Cobbler (skinny)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 3 c. halved and pitted sweet cherries, fresh or thawed if frozen
- 4 sheets low-fat honey graham crackers, (16 crackers)
- 2 Tb. fat-free liquid egg substitute
- 2 Tb. no-sugar-added applesauce
- 2 Tb. Splenda granulated, divided
- 1 Tb. brown sugar, not packed
- 1 Tb. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- dash salt

Frozen Ginger Margaritas

Fresh ginger and ginger ale lend a slightly sweet, spicy flavor to the classic margarita
- 2 cups lemon and lime margarita mix
- 4 cups crushed ice
- 1 1/3 cups ginger ale
- 3/4 cup tequila
- 2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
- Sugar for rimming glasses (optional)
Honey Wheat Rolls

You'd never know these tasty dinner rolls are made mainly with whole wheat flour
- 1 packet "highly active" active dry yeast, or 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast, or 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, cut into 6 pieces
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups King Arthur White Whole Wheat Flour, or King Arthur Traditional Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2/3 cup instant mashed potato flakes
- 1/4 cup nonfat dry milk
- 1 packet "highly active" active dry yeast, or 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast, or 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 8 ounces lukewarm water
- 2 ounces orange juice
- 2 ounces (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, cut into 6 pieces
- 2 1/4 ounces honey
- 4 1/4 ounces King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour

Leftover Turkey-Spaghetti Pie

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 4 qts. water
- 1/4 c. +1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. spaghetti
- 3 Tb. butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic , chopped
- 2 (8 oz.) cans sliced olives
- 2 (8 oz.) jars pimientos
- 1 1/2 c. leftover mushroom gravy, (or 1 can cream of mushroom soup)
- 4 c. crushed tomatoes, with juice
- 2 c. chicken stock
- 1 1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 4 c. leftover turkey, chopped
- 1 c. bread crumbs
Million Dollar Fudge

- 3 (4 1/2 oz.) Hershey bars
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 pint marshmallow cream
- 2 Tb. butter
- 1 lb. pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
Fast and Easy Red Pepper Hummus

- Homebaked Pita Chips:
- 2 15-oz. cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 Tb. taco seasoning mix
- 1 c. roasted red peppers, chopped
- olive oil to taste
- 6 pita rounds, halved and split
- 1 Tb. kosher salt
