Quick Brown Sugar Coffee Cake

- 1 t baking powder
- 1/4 t baking soda
- 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1/2 t nutmeg
- 1/8 t cream of tartar
- 1/8 t coriander
- 1 1/4 c flour
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 c light brown sugar
- 1/3 c butter
- 1/3 c milk
- 1 egg
Date Nut Sticks
By learen
In a saucepan over med heat, melt the butter
- 3/4 c butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c sugar
- 8 oz pkg chopped dates
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 c Rice Krispies
- 3 cups finely grated coconut
BBQ Beer Ribs

DUMP all the ingredients into a ziplock bag
- 1/2 can 12oz beer
- 1 1/2 cups spicy v-8® vegetable juice
- 1 cup honey barbecue sauce
- 8 each boneless country style ribs
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
Bordelaise Sauce

In a med saucepan combine broth, red wine, and shallot
- 1 1/4 c reduced sodium beef broth
- 3/4 c dry red wine
- 2 T finely chopped shallot
- 3 T butter or margarine, softened
- 1 T all purpose flour
- 1 T snipped fresh parsley(optional)
Hearty Beef and Noodle Soup

Season short ribs liberally with salt, pepper and garlic
- 1 1/2 lb beef short ribs
- 26 oz chicken stock
- 1 c red table wine
- 1 c water
- 1 can stewed tomatoes (14.5oz)
- 1 bag parsnips about 6, course chopped
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 T olive oil
- 4 T butter
- 3 T flour
- 1 T garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- package of egg noodles
Jeff's Salsa

BLEND or use a food processor to mix all ingredients
- 9 each tomatoes
- 1 each carrot shredded
- 1 each huge jalapeño
- 1/2 teaspoon Grandmas chili powder
- 3 each green onion (green only)
- 1 each red onion
- 8 cloves garlic (8-10)
- salt and pepper
- lime juice
Slow Cooked Artichoke Spinach Dip

Using a slow cooker, mix all ingredients, excluding the bread, cover and cook on low for 2-4 hours
- 1 pkg 9oz frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed to drain
- 1/2 c refrigerated Alfredo sauce
- 1 can 14oz quartered artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 1/4 t pepper
- 3/4 t garlic salt
- 1 c shredded swiss cheese 4oz
- 1 loaf 20in length baguette French bread, cut into 40 slices
Golden Garlic Knots

Heat oven to 375. Coat 8 of the muffin pan wells with Pam
- 3 T butter, melted
- 1 t chopped fresh thyme
- 1 t chopped fresh parsley
- 1 t minced chives
- 1 t minced garlic
- 1 pkg (11oz) refrigerated crescent dough
Honey Walnut Fruit Salad

IN a large size mixing bowl, blend honey, mayonnaise, and lemon juice until smooth
- 2/3 cup honey
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 6 each red apples, cored and chopped
- 4 each bananas, peeled and sliced
- 2 cans 11oz each mandarin oranges
- 2 cups seedless purple grapes
- 3 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
Hidden Valley Ranch Cheese Ball

MIX the double strength salad dressing and cream cheese
- 1/2 cup prepared, double strength Hidden Valley
- Ranch Milk recipe Original Ranch Salad
- Dressing
- (that would be one package, 1/2 cup mayo
- and 1/2 cup milk)
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese, room temp
- 6 ounces cream cheese, room temp
- 5 ounces sliced almonds, toasted
