Hissy Fit Dip

In a skillet over med heat, cook sausage until crumbled and brown
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 16 oz sour cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz velveeta cut into cubes
- 4 oz muenster cheese, grated
- 2 T fresh chives, snipped into tiny pieces
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1 t onion powder
- 1/2 dried ground sage
My Mom's Chocolate Cake

I got this out of a magazine and boy was it worth making
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 t vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 cup hot coffee
- Frosting
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 2 T milk
- 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1 t vanilla
Meaty Mushroom Chili

In a dutch oven, cook the sausage, beef and onion over med heat until the meat is done
- 1 lb bulk Italian Sausage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 c chopped onion
- 1 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 can (46oz) V8 juice
- 1 can (6oz) tomato paste
- 1 t sugar
- 1 t worcestershire sauce
- 1 t salt
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1 t dried oregano
- 1/2 t dried basil
- 1/2 t pepper
- sour cream, optional
Mandarin Tomato Beef

This is a tasty alternative to take out
- 1/2 cup reduced sodium teriyaki sauce
- 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
- 1 boneless beef top sirloin (around 1
- lb) cut into short thin strips
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 Tbs peanut or veg oil, divided
- 1 medium onion, cut into 1/2 in wedges
- 2 cups fresh snow peas, stemmed or 1
- package (6oz) frozen snow peas
- 2 med tomatoes, cut into 1/2 in wedges
- hot cooked rice
- pepper if desired
Puffy Chile Rellenos Cheese Bake

I love chile rellenos and this has to be the easiest recipe to make
- 2 cans whole green chiles
- 8 ounces Monterey jack cheese or cheddar
- 1 can 10 oz flaky biscuits
- 3 each eggs, separate out yolks
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Velveeta or taco sauce if desired
Ranch Style Mock Mashed Potatoes

Place florets into a steamer and cook for about 20 minutes or until tender
- 1 head cauliflower, washed and broken into pieces
- 1 c hidden valley light ranch dressing
- 1 T fat free milk
- 1 T light margarine or butter
- 1/4 t salt
Pork Chops with Apple Cranberry Stuffing, Crock Pot Low Fat

1. Spray inside of 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray
- 1 package (6 ounces) herb stuffing mix
- 2 medium celery stalks, chopped (1 cup)
- 1 medium tart cooking apple, peeled and chopped (1 cup)
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1 cup FF chicken broth (from 32-ounce carton)
- 6 pork boneless loin chops, about 1/2 inch thick
Kahlua Glazed Black Russian Cake

PREHEAT even to 350. IN a large bowl, combine all cake ingredients

- 1 package yellow cake mix with pudding
- 2 packages 3.4oz instant chocolate pudding
- 1 cup oil
- 4 each eggs
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 1/4 cup kahlua
- 3/4 cup water
- Glaze frosting
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon kahlua
- 3 teaspoons milk
Southwest Black Bean Soup (skinny)

In a nonstick saucepan, saute the pepper, celery and onion in oil until tender
- 1 med sweet red pepper, chopped
- 2 celery ribs chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 T canola oil
- 2 cans black beans rinsed and drained
- 1 can reduced sodium chicken broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (4oz) chopped green chiles
- 3/4 t cumin
- 1 1/2 c cooked instant brown rice
- 6 T reduced fat sour cream
Apple Crisp

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
