Grilled Portobello Mushroom Sandwich

POUR 1/4 cup of the dressing over mushrooms in shallow dish; cover
- 1/2 cup kraft light house italian reduced fat dressing, divided 2 medium portobello mushroom caps, cleaned
- 2 kaiser rolls, split 2/3 cup cleaned spinach leaves, cut into strips
- 1 tomato, cut into 4 slices
Green Beans with Bacon and Shallots*

Cook beans until crisp tender, rinse under cold water, drain well
- 2-1/2 lbs. green beans
- 8 slices bacon, thinly sliced crosswise
- 3 Tbs. butter
- 2/3 cup finely chopped shallots (about 4 large)
Sandy's Mexican Taco Dip

Brown chorizo and break apart
- 3/4 lb chorizo
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 pkg taco seasoning mix
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- shredded cheese mixture
Avocado Fries

Preheat oven to 425° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and coat with cooking spray; set aside
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 2 medium firm ripe avocados, halved, seeded, peeled, and cut into 1/2-inch-thick wedges
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup finely crushed tortilla chipsor panko bread crumbs
- Chili powder (optional)
Crock Pot Bourbon Chicken

Mix all sauce in a small bowl Place chicken in slow cooker, pour sauce over top
- 3 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions (or more to taste)
- Sauce
- 1/2 tsp. fresh grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red chili flakes
- 1/3 cup apple juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup Bourbon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- salt & pepper to taste
Sarah's Crab Appetizer

1st layer: Blend cream cheese, Worcestershire, lemon, mayonnaise, onion and garlic salt
- 12 oz. softened cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp. worchestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 sm onion grated
- dash garlic salt
- 1/2 bottle chili sauce
- 1 7-oz. can crabmeat, drained and flaked
- chopped parsley
Classic Hot Cocoa

Put cocoa, sugar and salt in a medium saucepan
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3-4 tsp. granulated sugar
- pinch table salt
- 2 2/2 cups whole milk
- mini marshmellows for garnish
Pineapple Pork Roast

Cut trimmed roast in half, if necessary, and place in Crock Pot
- 1 pork roast (ab 3 lbs)

- 1 can crushed pineapple (8 oz)
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 cup cold water

- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
