The Best Apple Crisp Ever

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Filling:
- 4 - 5 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 - cup sugar
- 1 - tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 - cup apple cider or apple juice
- 1 - teaspoon vanilla extract
- Topping:
- 1 - cup all purpose flour
- 1 - cup sugar
- 1 - stick cold margarine (not butter)
Baked Ziti With Thick Rich Meat Sauce

Directions: 1 Prepare sauce and keep under a low flame
- 5 -6 cups pasta sauce with meat (Recipe #256239)
- 1 lb ziti pasta or 1 lb penne pasta, under cooked
- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, slightly mix
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Slow Cooker Mexican Chicken Chili

Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray

Place tostada shells on a cookie sheet or a similar pan
- 1 can refried beans, heated to make them easier to spread (homemade refried beans make this even more frugal)
- 1/2 lb of ground beef, cooked and seasoned with taco seasoning.

- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1 onion
- 3 med potatoes
- 4 med. carrots
- 1/2 cup pasta penne or like
- 1/2 cup white beans
- 1 large chicken breast
- 1 tbs parsley
- 1 tbsp. garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 32 oz. chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1/8 tsp WHITE PEPPER (key ingredient)add more to your taste
Pulled Pork

Directions Mix salt, paprika, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- 4 lb bone-in pork shoulder, cut into 3 pieces and trimmed of all visible fat
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 1/2 C ketchup
- 1/3 C cider vinegar
- 1/4 C tomato paste
- 1/4 C water
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp hot-pepper sauce
- Mix salt, paprika, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne. Rub all over pork. Combine pork and remaining ingredients in large slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
- Remove pork from slow cooker and discard bone. Cool 10 minutes. Using forks, shred pork. Combine with sauce from cooker.
