- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1/4 C cold milk
- 2 tBL curry powder
- 1/4 C peanut oil
- 2 TBL mayo
- 1/4 C mango chutney, finely chopped
- 1/4 C rice wine vinegar
- 1 10oz bag broccoli slaw mix
- 1/2 C chopped scallions
- 1/4 C roughly chopped fresh cilantro
Easy Rib Roast with Mom's Horseradish Sauce

Dress the garlic with oil, salt and pepper and wrap tightly in foil
- For the sauce:
- 2 heads garlic, ends cut to expose cloves
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Salt and pepper
- 1 rib roast (10-12 pounds)
- 3-4 sprigs rosemary, finely chopped
- A few sprigs of marjoram, stripped and finely chopped
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup minced chives
- 1/4 cup prepared horseradish
- Salt and pepper
SALISBURY STEAK WITH ONION GRAVY

- 1/2 C dry bread crumbs1/4 tsp salt
- pinch pepper
- 1-1/2 LBS grd. beef
- 1 TBL flour
- 1/4 C water
- 1/4 C ketchup
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
- 6 C hot cooked egg noodles

- STOCK:
- 3 qts water
- 1 onion, halved
- 1 stalk celery, halved
- 1 meaty ham bone or lg. ham shank
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 cloves
- SOUP:
- 1 LB bag dry beans (navy, pea or northern) soaked in lg. bowl of water overnight
- 1 LB ham, diced (3-4C)
- 2 carrots, peeled, ends removed, diced
- 4 med potatoes, diced (abt 4C)
- 1/2 tsp thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp savory leaves
- 1 tsp salt (optional - some hams are salty)
- 1/2-1 tsp black pepper

- 2 cans (28-oz each) pork & beans

- 1 LB med. shrimp, peeled & deveined (inexpensive is OK)
- 3/4 C diced onion
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 TBL fresh lemon juice
- 1/34 Canned crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 (14.5oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
