- 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh basil (or the equivalent of dried basil)
- dried oregano to taste
- Toppings:

- Potato crust for quiche:
- 3 mid-sized potatoes, quartered
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- fresh-ground pepper, a couple of turns from the peppermill
- Quiche:
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 1/4 cups any leafy green, chopped fairly small (I used swiss chard, since I had some in the fridge)
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled or chopped
- 1 c. shredded cheese (I like to use a nice, sharp cheddar)
- 1 cup chopped broccoli
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- fresh-ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt

- 1 1/2 pounds beef flank steak
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 recipe Lemon Butter (below)
- 4 cups shredded Napa cabbage
- 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
- 2 green onions, bias-sliced into 1-inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- 3 tablespoons minced lemongrass
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
- crushed red pepper
- Directions:
- In bowl combine softened butter; minced lemongrass; cilantro; lemon juice; and salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper to taste.
Corned Beef, Cabbage & Potatoes

- 3 lb corned beef
- 4 carrots - cut into 2 inch pieces
- 1 or 2 medium onions - chopped
- 1 small head cabbage - roughly chopped
- 2 cups apple juice
- 1 cup water
- Potatoes:
- 1 1/2 lb petite red potatoes - sliced in 1/2
- 1/2 stick butter - softened
- 1 tablespoon garlic - chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley - chopped
- salt & pepper to taste

- 1 C chicken stock
- 1 14 oz can coconut milk
- 2 Tbsp arrowroot
- 1 Tbsp poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 C cooked chicken, chopped
- Dough:
- 1 C Tapioca Flour
- 1/4 C coconut Flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 3 Tbsp butter (or coconut oil)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 C Boiling water

- 2-3 medium heirloom tomatoes sliced 1/2 inch thick slices
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella sliced 1/4 inch thick slices (buffalo is the same thing practically)
- 6 large basil leaves
- 1 1/2 cups arrowroot starch/powder/flour
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cups melted ghee
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
