Buttermilk Cinnamon Bread
By ghinman
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt
- 4 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 cups sugar, divided
- 2 cups of buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbs. ground cinnamon
- 1 to 2 tbs. finely chopped walnuts
Tomato Basil Spaghetti

Bring a lg. pot of salted water to a boil
- Kosher salt
- 1 lb. dried spaghetti or other, long pasta
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 sm. yellow or white onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 bunches, fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 14.5 oz. can, whole tamatoes with juice
- 1 8 oz. can, tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano (about 1 oz.) or to taste, for serv.
- 1 tsp. dried, red pepper flakes or to taste, for serving
Baked Cheddar Dip

Mix ingredients together and pour into baking dish
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 3 small onions, grated
- 1 tsp. onion and garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
White Punch
By ghinman
Mix all ingredients and serve cold
- 1 gal. of white, dry wine
- 1 qt. of Vodka
- 1 qt. Champagne or Sparkling Burgundy
- 1 qt. soda water
- Ice and fruit of your choice, optional
Roasted Potato Medley

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 4 Yukon Gold potatoes
- 8 new potatoes
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 tsp. dried tarragon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Fruit Salad

Mix all ingredients except oranges (drain well, take a long time)
- Dressing:
- 2 cans pineapple chunks, well drained
- 1 lg. cucumber, cut lengthwise and seeded. Cut in bite size pieces.
- 3 cups snow peas (pea pods) sliced diagonally in 1 in. pieces.
- 3/4 cup coconut
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 2 cups Mandarin Oranges (8-10 oz. can)
- 1/2 cup red onion
- 2 Tbs. oil
- 2 Tbs. rice wine vinegar
- 2 Tbs. honey
- 3/4 tsp. light soy sauce
Pumpkin Roll

Mix all ingredients and bake in a greased 15 1/2x10" jelly roll pan (solid cookie sheet) for 12-15 minutes
- Filling:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 3/4 cup of flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup of pumpkin
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 3 tbs. butter
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar
- 1/4 cup of pecans
- (I double both receipes using 8 oz. of cream cheese and 8tbs. butter and 1 1/2 boxes of sugar).

Heat corn syrup and margarine to boiling point, remover from heat
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 1 tbsp. margarine
- 5.75 oz. pkg. milk chocolate chips or chocolate bars.
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 cups golden grahams
- 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
- Buttered 9x9x2" pan
Chocolate Nut Caramel Bars

Melt over hot water (not boiling), chocolate and shortening
- 11 1/2 ozs. Milk Choc. morsels (2 cups)
- 2 tbsp. vegetable shortening
- 14 oz, bag Kraft caramels
- 5 tbsp. margarine
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1 cup coarsley chopped nuts
Barbeque Sauce

Put in blender. Pour over chicken-bake 350 degrees for at least one hour
- 1 cup of ketsup
- 1 cup water
- 1 sm. onion
- 1 stalk of celery with top
- 1/4 green pepper
- 1 tbs. brown sugar
- 2 tbs. worchestershire sauce
