Whole Wheat, Chip and Coffee Bar and Glaze

Sift together: 2 cups flour 1 cup whoe wheat flour 1 tsp
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes
Manhattan Clam Chowder

Add all except clams and simmer, partially covered for 30 min
- 4 Tbs. sweet butter
- 2 cups finely chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped celery
- Cook above over low heat, covered until tender, about 25 min.
- 5 cups chicken stock
- 1 1/2 tsp. Thyme
- 1 Bay Leaf
- salt and ground pepper
- 1 large can peeled Italian plum tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 2 med. potatoes, peeled and diced
- 3 doz. small clams
- grated orange (optional)
White Corn Salad

In lg. bowl, combine oil, vinegar, br
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 Tbs. rice vinegar
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 (11 oz.) cans, Green Giant White Shoepeg Corn, drained
- 1 lg. tomato, chopped
- 3-4 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
Roasted Chickens with bacon

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- 2 chickens, each 4-4 1/2 lbs.
- Olive oil as needed
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 12-16 bacon slices
- 2 tbs. finely diced shallots
- 1 tsp. all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 tbs. chicken demi-glace
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp. minced fresh thyme

- 1 bag (12 oz.) Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers Nibblets frozen corn
- 1 container (18 oz.) Old Elpaso refrigerated taco sauce with seasoned chicken
- 2 cups Progresso red kidney beans, drained, rinsed from 19 oz. can
- 1/2 cup Old Elpaso Thicck 'n Chunky salsa
- 1 can (8 oz.) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 tbs. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 tbs. yellow cornmeal
Kahlua Chocolate Cake

Mix all but last ingredient as a regular cake mix
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 box of vanilla instant pudding
- 16 oz. of sour cream
- 3/4 cup of oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/3 cup of kahlua or other coffee or chocolate liquer
- 8 oz. chocolate chips
Garllicky Oven Fries

- 3 Tbs. vegetable oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
- 5 med. unpeeled potatoes, scrubbed and cut into 1/2 in. sticks
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 12 tsp. paprika
- 1 Tbs. grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
French Toast

- 10 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups, milk
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbs. vanilla
- 2 loaves French breadwd
- 2 (16 oz.) bags, frozen strawberries
- 8 ripe bananas
- 1 cup, sugar
- 2 Tbs. apple pie spice
Garlic Dressing

- 1 egg yolk
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tbs. granulated sugar
- 1 tbs. chopped garlic
