Florentines

In a small saucepan, combine the butter, sugar and syrup
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 tbs. dark brown sugar
- 3 tbs. corn syrup
- 3/4 cups, sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup, all-purpose flour
- Grated rind of 1/2 lemon and 1/2 orange
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 5 oz. simi-sweet chocolate, melted
Holiday Chocolate Cheesecake

1) To prepare pie crust, in a medium bowl, mix together chocolate crumbs and melted butter until well blended
- Crust:
- 2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
- 5 tbls. melted butter
- Filling:
- 3 8oz. pkgs. cream cheese (room temp.)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 5 lg. eggs
- 2 ozs. (2 squares) semisweet chocolate, melted
- Frosting:
- 6 ozx. (6 squares) semisweet chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup cour cream
Onion and Dill, Beer Bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/2 cut up red onion
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 cups of bread flour
- 1 tbs. plus 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 tbs. dark brown sugar
- 2 tsp. dried dill weed or 4 tsp. fresh dill weed (do not
- use seed)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 12 oz. can of beer at room temperature
Baked Ziti with Mushrooms, Peppers and Parmesan

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 3 lg. yellow, bell peppers diced in 1/4" pieces
- 1 lg. onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbs. olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 lbs. mushrooms, sliced thin
- 2 med. red bell peppers, cut into 1/4" strips
- 2 med. orange bell peppers, cut into 1/4" strips
- 1 lb. ziti
- 8 scallions (green part only)
- 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Coco-Walnut Brownie Loaf

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla
- FROSTING:
- 3/4 cup of softened butter
- 3/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups unsifted flour
- 1/2 cup Hershey's coco
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 oz. container of plain yogurt (room temp.)
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup of butter or margarine
- 3 tbs. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup of Hersheys coco
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- Walnuts, coarsley ground
Gooey Ice Cream Cinnamon Bites

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8x4 in
- 2 Tbs. chopped pecans
- 6 Pillsbury Grandss..frozen mini cinnamon rolls with icing (13.5 oz. bag)
- 1/3 cup vanilla ice cream
- 3 Tbs. caramel topping
- 2 Tbs. butter or marg.
- 2 icing packets from bag of cinnamon rolls
Chicken Fajita Crescent Braid

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray
- 1 can (8 oz.) Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations
- 1 tbs. vegetable oil
- 2 small, boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, cut into 1x1/2x1/2 in. strips
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup green or red bell pepper strips (2x1x1/4 in.)
- 1/4 cup Old Elpaso Thick and Chunky Salsa
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend
- (8 ox.)
- 1 egg white, beaten
Quick Coffee Cake

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
- Topping:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbls. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1/3 cup margarine (melted)
- 2 eggs
- Enough milk to fill up to 1 cup then mix with dry ingredients.
- Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour into greased pan.
- 2 tbls. butter
- 3 tbls. sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup dry bread
- 2 tbls. cinnamon
Pumpkin Butter
