- 6 Tbsp. sugar

This is an easy way to make a loaf of fresh, buttery, cornbread-type bread
- 3 cups flour (sifted)
- 3 tsp. baking powder (omit if using self-rising flour)
- 1 tsp. salt (omit if using self-rising flour)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 12-oz. bottle of beer (i prefer ale)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup jalepenos chopped (drained. used more as needed)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (use more as needed)
