Ingredients

  • 1 Large container of "Cool Whip"
  • 3 + 1/2 Sticks of butter - softened
  • 2 C. Granulated sugar
  • 8 ounce package of Cream Cheese - softened
  • 16 ounce can of crushed pineapple (in natural juice)-
  • drained well
  • 4 large bananas
  • 12 maraschino cherries
  • 3 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 extra large eggs
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Melt 1 + 1/2 sticks of the butter. Mix well with the graham cracker crumbs. Press firmly into a 9x13 dish and set aside.

Mix remaining 2 sticks of softened butter, 2 eggs, 2 cups of sugar, & 8 oz of cream cheese. Beat at least 15 minutes to be sure sugar is dissolved & mixture is very creamy.

Spread creamed mixture evenly over graham cracker crust.

Place drained pineapple over creamed mixture.

Slice bananas over pineapple.

Spread "Cool Whip" over bananas.

Sprinkle pecans over "Cool Whip".

Decorate top with the cherries.

Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Keep refrigerated.
