  • 2 bags microwaved popcorn, popped
  • 2 C brown sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Step 1

preheat oven to 250 degrees. Pup popped corn in a large baking pan. Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add 1/2 tsp baking soda and stir until light brown and bubbly. Pour over popcorn. Mix until covered. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove fromm oven and stir well. Repeat until you have baked the corn for a total of four 15 minute intervals(Total bake time is 1 hour. Stirring time does not count) Wen you remove it from the oven, continue stirring as it cools so that it does not stick to the pan.
