Ingredients

  • 8 C sliced onions
  • 1/4 C olive oil
  • 1 Tb flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 quart vegetable stock
  • 1 C white wine
  • 4 doz croutons
  • mozarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Toss onions with oil and bake for 40 minnutes.

2. Stir in flour, sugar and bake another 15 minutes.

3. Transfer to pot on top of stove.

4. Add stock and wine and bring to a boil.

5. Reduce heat and simmer.
