Ingredients
- Oil for frying
- 2 cups flour
- 1 T. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 4 T. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 4 T. liquid butter blend
- 1 cup whole corn, drained
- Powdered sugar
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Heat cooking oil to approx. 350.
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix eggs, milk, and liquid butter. Fold in egg mixture in dry ingredients. Add corn.
Drop by teaspoons into hot oil and deep fry 5 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
