Ingredients

  • 1 pound of Fresh Cranberries
  • 1 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped Walnuts
  • 2 tbls. grated Orange Peel

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cranberries, sugar and water in large saucepan; heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer uncovered 20 min; skim ofam;remove from heat.
Stir in walnuts and orange peel.
Refrigerate, covered, overnight.

**If the cranberries are unusually tart, more sugar can be added. Taste before adding walnuts and orange peel.
