Sweet 'n' Tart Asparagus

Ingredients
- 1/2 c balsamic vinegar
- 2 T sugar
- 1 lb. fresh asparagus
- 1 shallot (peeled & chopped)

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400 degrees. In small saucepan, bring vinegar and sugar to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Let simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Meanwhile place asparagus on baking sheet and lightly coat with olive oil cooking spray. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Roast asparagus 8 minutes or until tender. Arrange asparagus on platter. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with shallots.
