Rosemary Pears with Honey Yogurt

  • 4 fresh Bartlett or Bosc pears, cored and cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup honey flavored greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts) or 1/2 cup granola

Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 35mins


Step 1

Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Use a cast-ironpan, or line a heavy roasting pan with aluminum foil; spray with nonstick spray.
Place the pears, cut side up, in the pan and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Roast for 25 minutes or until the sugar is carmelized and the pears are golden and slightly softened; baste if necessary.
Spoon into bowls and top honey flavored yogurt.
Sprinkle with nuts or granola.
Serve warm for breakfast, dessert or snack.
