Bow Tie Pasta with Chicken and Vegetables

  • Sauce:
  • 3 cups bow tie pasta
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 skinned and boned chicken breast halves cut into 3/4" pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups vegetables - broccoli, corn and peppers suggested
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbs AP Flour
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese


Servings 4


Step 1

Mix flour with small amount of milk.
Add mix to rest of milk and chicken broth.
Cook on medium high heat, stirring often.
When sauce has thickened, add 1/4 cup parmesan, stir.

Cook pasta in a 2qt saucepan for about 6 minutes, add vegetables and cook another 3 minutes.
While pasta and sauce is cooking, cook garlic and seasoned chicken in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook 5-6 minutes or until done.
Combine chicken and sauce with pasta and vegetables.
Garnish with remaining cheese.
