Sesame hoisin salmon

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp canola oil
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp minced onion
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp crushed chilies
- 1 side of Atlantic salmon, skin on (about 3 lbs/1.36kg)(you can use skinless)

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl whick together all marinade ingredients and stir to combine. Place salmon in a large casserole dish and pour marinade over top. Cover and refrigerate for 1-4 hours.
Place salmon, skin side down, on a greased grill over medium-high heat. Close lid and grill for about 20 mins. or until fish flakes when tested with fork.
Or, cook in oven at 425F for 20 mins. or until fish flakes when tested with fork.
