Ingredients
- 1-1/4 Cup Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1-1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 Pints strawberries, halved
- Freshly ground pepper
- 1 pint of vanilla ice-cream

Preparation
Step 1
1) Whisk 1/4 cup of the wine and cornstarch in a small bowl; set aside.
2) Combine remaining 1 cup of wine, sugar and vanilla in a medium saucepan.
heat to boil; Whisk in the cornstarch mixture. Return to boil; cook until thickened. Set aside
3) Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add strawberries; cook 1 minute. Add sauce and 1 turn of pepper mill. Heat to boil; remove from heat.
4) Divide strawberries and sauce among serving bowls. Place a scoop pf ice cream in the center of each bowl.
Makes 6 servings;
